Custom-made hallway cabinet that combines storage space, structure and additional functions
This project shows how a made-to-measure hallway cupboard can be much more than just classic storage space.
The aim was to create a solution that structures the hallway, functionally extends it and at the same time appears light and open.
The initial situation
The hallway is in the direct line of sight at the top of the stairs and thus shapes the first impression of the house.
At the same time, additional storage space should be created without the area appearing cluttered or losing its openness.
In addition, the sloping roof had to be taken into account and a hidden function had to be integrated.
The idea behind it
The hallway is in the direct line of sight at the top of the stairs and thus shapes the first impression of the house.
At the same time, additional storage space should be created without the area appearing cluttered or losing its openness.
In addition, the sloping roof had to be taken into account and a hidden function had to be integrated.
The implementation
Instead of a classic, closed cupboard, the aim was to create a solution that combines storage space and openness.
Different compartment sizes and open areas should break up the wardrobe and give it a light, modern effect.
At the same time, an integrated laundry chute should disappear invisibly into the furniture and make everyday life easier.
The result
The result is a made-to-measure hallway cupboard that structures the room and integrates additional functions at the same time.
It looks light and modern, offers storage space for everyday use and surprises with details that you might not expect at first glance.
