Customized wardrobe solution with storage space and access to electrical and heating distributions
This project shows how a made-to-measure wardrobe can be integrated into a built-in wardrobe that not only offers storage space but also takes technical requirements into account.
The aim was to create a solution that works in everyday life and at the same time allows access to electrical and heating distributions at any time – without disturbing the calm appearance of the room.
The initial situation
The entrance area should be used as a checkroom and at the same time create additional storage space.
At the same time, there were electrical and underfloor heating distributions in the wall that had to remain accessible at all times.
The challenge was to develop a bespoke wardrobe that integrates flush with the surface and combines technology and storage space in a sensible way.
The idea behind it
It quickly became clear that a classic wardrobe solution would not be enough.
Instead, a built-in cabinet had to be created that combined fixed and flexible elements to allow access to the technology at any time.
At the same time, the design should appear calm, uncluttered and high-quality – without visible interruptions or compromises in the design.
The implementation
The made-to-measure wardrobe was designed as a built-in wardrobe that fits flush into the room and creates additional storage space at the same time.
Classic cupboard areas ensure order in everyday life, while movable elements provide access to the electrical and heating distributions.
A centrally positioned, flexible unit can be moved so that the technology remains accessible at all times without being permanently visible.
The solution is complemented by integrated details and clear lines that give the built-in wardrobe a calm and high-quality appearance.
The result
The result is a made-to-measure wardrobe that combines function and design.
The built-in wardrobe creates storage space, integrates technical requirements and at the same time blends harmoniously into the room – without any visual clutter.
