This project shows how a functional workstation can be integrated into a cupboard that can be completely closed when required.
The aim was to create a home office area that is fully usable in everyday life – and at the same time disappears from the room when it is not needed.
The initial situation
Open desks or shelving solutions often look restless and difficult to integrate in modern living spaces.
They were looking for a solution that would provide a complete workstation without being permanently visible.
The room should remain tidy – regardless of whether work is in progress or not.
The idea behind it
Instead of a classic desk, the idea was to create a cabinet that combines work and organization.
The focus was on a concept in which the workstation can be opened quickly and closed again just as quickly – without sacrificing comfort or storage space.
At the same time, the design should appear calm and of high quality and blend harmoniously into the living space.
The implementation
The custom-made home office cupboard combines storage space and workstation in one well thought-out unit.
The roller shutter system conceals a fully equipped workstation with an integrated work surface, shelves and storage space for everyday use.
